How to use this parenting module

This module provides LDATs with everything you need to deliver high quality parenting programs in your local community. It has been designed to be worked through in sequential order to follow the steps required to plan and deliver a program, however you are able to move around the sections freely to suit your needs. You can navigate using the navigation bar at the side of the page or using the “Next/Previous section” buttons at the bottom of each page. All resources provided throughout are adaptable and optional.

Each page provides some background information to provide context, evidence, and rationale to the content. This content is then further supported by additional resources, such as fact sheets, presentations, templates, videos, or policies to name a few. As you move through the module content, you will see these supporting resources indicated throughout. You can learn more about the resource, such as who the intended audience is, how you might use it or how you might customise it to suit your needs. You can also then download the resource and save it so you can share it, adapt it, or refer to it later. In addition, all resources noted throughout the module content are also centrally located on the Resource Hub, which is filterable and searchable.

The module is designed to support and compliment your existing programs and structures. It provides best-practice resources, but still allows for flexibility and adaptability to suit the needs of your community and program. Your ADF Relationship Manager can assist you in adapting or implementing any of the resources or information within this module.
